Welcome to Spring
Our favourite season of the year has arrived – the green one! Yes, welcome to Spring. Hope you have your race hats at the ready, anti-histamines stocked and new sunnies on order. With an election looming, expect news desks to busier, the promises to get bolder, the scandals to get juicer and the issues to get bigger. And Slice is at the helm to track it all for you.
Congrats to our iPod Shuffle winners: Michelle Parker of MacPR, James Martin of Shire of Yarra Ranges, Michaela Lauren of Environmental Biotechnology CRC Pty Ltd, Carol Moore of Moore Public Relations and Caroline Leslie of Green Hat. Rock on people.
Slice of life
Earlier this week Slice was granted an audience with her majesty, the Publicity Queen, Sally Romano and here’s what she had to say about her humble servant Slice. |

The house that Slice built Last week we packed it in bubblewrap, loaded up the ute and took Slice to it’s new home. With sensational coffee from St Ali’s around the corner, the famous South Melbourne market dim sims just up the road, and hop, skip and jump to Albert Park, Slice is taking full advantage of its city fringe digs. If you’re ever in the area, drop in and have a cuppa.

From the blog: Politics 2.0?
Andrew McDonald, Internet Monitoring Manager for Media Monitors, made some interesting observations about how Aussie politicians are making use of the internet in the lead up to the federal election. Visit http://slicemedia.blogspot.com/2007/09/politics-20.html to read the post. |
